Information Technology and Telecommunications Services
2.14.1
Phone and internet connection services
Isavia provides operators with information about the available service providers at Keflavík International Airport (KEF) and the service options offered within the facility. Once this information is provided, the operator orders the connection directly from the service provider. Isavia and the service provider then jointly deliver the connection to the operator (via a CAT cable) through Isavia's systems.
Isavia reserves the right to take action if traffic to or from the service provider begins to affect the operation of Isavia's systems. Similarly, Isavia will make every effort to ensure maximum uptime for its equipment.
Isavia can provide connections between leased spaces, such as between a warehouse and a store, upon request. Additionally, Isavia offers further information about connection types, the number of cables available, and related details.
For all inquiries about internet connections, please contact Isavia User Support at it@isavia.is.
2.14.2
Wireless network
Isavia provides passengers with access to free wireless internet. Operators are not permitted to offer wireless internet to passengers. Furthermore, operators must not have visible wireless networks (SSID) unless specifically approved by Isavia's system operations team (it@isavia.is).

Ad Screens
All advertising screens in the terminal must be coordinated with Isavia. Information about advertising screens and content delivery can be obtained from Isavia's Retail and Catering Department (auglysingar@kefairport.is). Operators interested in advertising at the terminal can find more details at www.kefairport.is/auglysingar.

Screens operated by the operator
Screens operated by the operator are often highly attention-grabbing and can significantly impact their surroundings. To avoid negative effects on airport guests, it is important to maintain a good balance in size, brightness, and content presentation. Well-executed displays can attract attention to the operator, increase sales, and contribute to a positive passenger experience.
If operators wish to set up their own screens, this must be done in full consultation with Isavia's Commercial Department.
Purpose and Goals
- The screens are intended to draw passengers' attention to the operator's products and services.
- The screens are intended to highlight tax-free/duty-free prices.
- The screens are intended to highlight seasonal products and promotions.

- The contrast ratio of static screens must be at least 5000:1.

- The casing of offered LED units must be made of metal.
- Screens must be tested according to fire safety standards EN13501-1, with results of at least C, S2, and D0, or similar results from comparable testing standards.
- The control box and controllers should allow for front-side maintenance without taking the system offline during maintenance or screen changes.
- The screens should not require additional cooling equipment or fans.
- The operator is responsible for recycling packaging materials after screen installation.
- Screens must comply with EU energy labeling (Energy label), and details of electricity consumption must be provided along with the approval request.
Design

Third-party Advertising Sales
- Selling advertising space to third parties is strictly prohibited.
Rules for Advertising at Keflavik Airport apply to all displayed content.
See the rules here: Reglur um auglýsingar á Keflavíkurflugvelli

If the operator fails to make necessary adjustments within a reasonable time, Isavia reserves the right to remove the screens at the operator’s expense.
