2.6

Cleaning of Premises

Cleaning of the operator's premises shall be performed regularly and in accordance with the specific use of the space. The operator shall submit a cleaning plan to their Isavia contact for approval, outlining detailed work descriptions, cleaning frequencies, and maintenance cleaning schedules. Isavia reserves the right to request a revision of the operator's cleaning plan if cleaning standards or quality are deemed insufficient. The operator shall then submit a revised cleaning plan to Isavia for approval.

The operator or a contractor on their behalf responsible for cleaning must have an active quality system and regular quality control that ensures the quality of the cleaning service. The operator must use environmentally certified (type I) cleaning agents e.g. the Swan label, or the EU Ecolabel.

Isavia reserves the right to perform unannounced visual inspections of cleaning quality or to request information regarding the operator's quality control measures. The operator shall log all suggestions and comments received and respond with a formal corrective action plan.

2.6.1

General Conduct and Use of Space

Storage and Obstructions in Common Areas
Operators are strictly prohibited from storing or leaving items—including materials, furniture, goods, waste, or other equipment—in airport areas outside of their designated contract spaces. This prohibition applies throughout the entire duration of the contract, including the operator's mobilization (setup) and demobilization (move-out) periods.

Penalties and Enforcement
Due to potential fire hazards and operational risks, non-compliance with these regulations may lead to heavy penalties:

Daily Fines: A daily fine of ISK 50,000 shall be charged for each day the operator fails to fulfill this obligation.

Notice Period: Daily fines take effect 48 hours after a formal warning has been issued by Isavia, provided that corrective actions have not been completed within that timeframe.
