Keflavik International Airport

APOC
Airport Operations Center – Keflavik Airport Control Center.
APOC is responsible for monitoring and coordinating the daily operations of Keflavik Airport, as well as managing emergency responses, incidents, and any operational disruptions. Stakeholders of the airport must report malfunctions and other deviations related to safety and/or operations to APOC via email at apoc@kefairport.is or by calling 425-6200.

MOI
Buildings and Infrastructure.
MOI is responsible for the operation and maintenance of buildings, facilities, technical systems, infrastructures, aprons, runways, and utilities at Keflavik Airport. MOI ensures safe operations through targeted maintenance and management of infrastructure in compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.

Assets are managed according to the needs of the customers and users of the facilities, aiming for operational efficiency, maximizing asset lifetime and reliability, and minimizing costs and risks.

Rekstraraðili
Any entity operating or conducting other activities at the airport.

Rekstrarleyfishafi
An operator conducting business under a concession agreement for retail, food services, or other passenger services.

Tengiliður Isavia
The person responsible for managing the business relationship with concession holders (Business Manager) and, if applicable, other operators. An operator is assigned a contact at the start of their partnership.

A section of the airport where additional security measures are applied, restricting access.
